Why Tap?
Rhythm and timing
Tap is one of the best ways to develop a natural sense of rhythm. Students quickly learn to hear and make music with their feet.
Footwork and co-ordination
The complexity of tap footwork builds co-ordination and fine motor control in a way few other activities match.
Confidence on stage
Tap is inherently performative; the sound is part of the show. Students gain a natural performance presence from day one.
IDTA exams and grades
Our tap classes follow the IDTA syllabus with graded examinations. Every student who has sat an exam with us has passed.
Adult Tap Classes Available Too
Tap isn't just for children. We run adult tap classes at Stratford-upon-Avon on Tuesday evenings, completely beginner-friendly, hugely sociable, and incredibly good fun. No experience needed, ever.
Find out about adult classes“My daughter has been doing tap for 6 years now and still loves every class. Miss Frankie's teaching is exceptional; my daughter's rhythm and musicality have developed so much.”
