Why Dance for Toddlers?

More than just movement: early dance builds the whole child.

Builds confidence from day one

Many parents tell us that their little one was shy when they started, and a completely different child within a term. Dance gives toddlers a safe space to express themselves and shine.

Sensory-rich and age-appropriate

Our Little Lemons sessions are designed specifically for early years development. Props, music, storytelling, and imaginative play are woven through every class.

IDTA-accredited school

Every Zest Dance teacher holds IDTA qualifications. Even our youngest classes follow a structured, professionally designed curriculum, not just freestyle play.

Dance Classes for Babies and Toddlers

Zest Dance offers structured, developmentally appropriate dance classes for children from 18 months old across Kenilworth, Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham, and New Milton. Our Little Lemons programme, also known as Zest Dance Tots, is designed for the earliest years, blending ballet fundamentals, pop dance, gymnastics, and imaginative creative movement into every session.

Each class is parent-and-carer friendly: you join in alongside your child, supporting their confidence and making memories together. Our teachers are IDTA-qualified and experienced in early years education, creating a calm, playful environment where even shy toddlers quickly come out of their shell.

We recommend a two-week trial for our toddler sessions so your child has time to settle in at their own pace. Most of our toddlers are enrolled by a friend's recommendation, and once they start, they rarely want to stop.
